Target Groups

The projects promoted by the Schmitz Foundations are aimed at people living in poverty and those who are to be regarded as especially disadvantaged.

The particular target groups receiving our support include:

• Street children, orphans
• Young people from socially disadvantaged backgrounds
• Families with incomes below the poverty level
• The homeless
• The handicapped
• The old and the sick
• Women suffering particular hardship

 

Note:

it is not part of our remit to provide financial support to individuals, for example, through scholarships or by paying hospital expenses..

The projects we carry out are always aimed at clearly defined formal and informal groups such as village communities, local credit unions etc. and are intended to benefit the largest possible number of participants as equally as possible.
